s の発音 — 語尾に「ス」がついてしまう理由と直し方

なぜ難しいのか

語尾に、余分な「ス」がついてしまうことがあります。house が「ハウス」のように。

At the end of a word, an extra "su" often slips in — house becomes "hausu".

発音のしかた

歯のあいだから息を流して、そこで止めます。練習のときは、少し長く伸ばしてもかまいません — sssit、houssse。

Let the air hiss through your teeth, then stop. When you practice, it's fine to stretch it — sssit, houssse.
