ng の発音 — 語尾に「ウ」がついてしまう理由と直し方

なぜ難しいのか

語尾の ng には、余分な母音がついてしまうことがよくあります。sing が sing-u、ring が ring-u になります。

The NG at the end of a word often picks up an extra vowel. Sing becomes sing-u. Ring becomes ring-u.

発音のしかた

ng は語頭には来ません。語中か語尾に来ます。舌の奥を上げて口の奥の柔らかい部分につけ、音は鼻から出します。語尾では舌をそのまま上げたままにしてください。舌を下げてしまうと、母音がついてしまいます。

NG never starts a word — it comes in the middle or at the end. The back of your tongue rises to touch the soft roof of your mouth, and the sound leaves through your nose. At the end of a word, leave the tongue up there. Dropping it is what adds the vowel.
